Happy Birthday, Dot!

Last Saturday Dorothy celebrated her 70th birthday with her children and grandchildren on the Kansas River. One thing that is worthy of explanation here -- when we scheduled this float Uncle Ron and I were thinking, "70th birthday party? This will be one slow, lazy day on the Kaw!" We couldn't have been more wrong. Between Dot's 70 years young and her over-zealous teenage grandsons who apparently never stopped paddling, we made it from Perry to Lawrence in record time!
