Biology Lessons on the Kaw...

Up a Creek was contacted last week by some K.U. Biology graduate students for some kayak rentals. We invited them along on to the Kaw with us since the water levels had recenly begun to subside. Although the weather didn't want to cooperate with us we forged ahead regardless of the mud, rain and lightning but by mid afternoon we were glad that we did. The sun came out, we got a lesson in turtles lore, rocks and old bones.

Thanks to Brian, our lone accountant on the run we were even able to find a new species of T-Rex... Platarex. We will be waiting on Vince, Cori and Wes to publish the paper on the findings later this year. No $3000.00 charge to publish it here guys!
